GalleryPakistan Working on Diabetic Foot (PWGDF) & National Association of Diabetes Education of Pakistan organized the “NADEP Diabetes Foot Con” in collaboration with Baqai Institute of Diabetology and Endocrinology on 2nd to 4th August 2019 at PC Hotel, Karachi. The objective was to discuss the current practices in Diabetic Foot management, to provide hands-on skills to the participants and to share the valued experiences. The training encompassed a wide horizon of diabetic foot problem, including prevention and early diagnosis, clinical & surgical management and recent advances in targeted therapies for diabetic foot. Practical workshops were the distinctive feature of this symposium. International Diabetes and Endocrine Congress, 2016 was inaugurated on 19th– 21st August, 2016. The inauguration ceremony was a graceful occasion heavily attended by the dignitaries, health care professionals and people from all walks of life. Prof. Zahida Baqai was the chief guest.The two days scientific sessions proceeded very successfully and in an organized fashion. Over 40 delegates and speakers from 22 countries.
