Certified Diabetic Foot Care Assistant Course is a 83 hours certificate course for Foot Care Assistants. Main purpose of the course is to educate and train foot care assistants for prevention of leg amputation and quality management of Foot Ulcers

There are 27.4 million people with diabetes in Pakistan. One of the important complications is diabetic foot. In Pakistan, DFUs affect 7.2% of people with diabetes during their lifetime. Improper management and delay in referral are two important reasons of amputation. This course would improve the knowledge and develop practical skills to manage diabetic foot
