The Diet and Education department conducted a one month educational activity for ward staff. The program was divided into two-week intervals, with the initial focus on diet-related topics and the subsequent two weeks dedicated to educational concepts. During the diet-focused sessions, staff members delved into fundamental knowledge regarding nutrition, myths and facts, and dietary considerations. The latter half of the program shifted the focus to broader educational principles relevant to insulin techniques, hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia management and self monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) ensuring a comprehensive understanding of key concepts essential for effective ward management.
