The Department of Physiotherapy provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to assist adults and children in overcoming physical, neurological, cognitive impairments, disabilities and handicaps. The department has two full time trained senior physiotherapists and its clinical expertise. All physiotherapists work with an interdisciplinary team to restore physical functions, relieve pain and minimize the psychological, social and vocational efforts of disability.
The services offered are, cardiac rehabilitation programme, orthotic and prosthetic clinic, paediatric rehabilitation, general orthopaedic conditions, neuro-rehabilitation, lumbar and cervical tractions, chest physical therapy, hydrotherapy, gait training, treatment for pain through Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation (TENS), and other electrapeutic modalities. Department has extended its services to home based physiotherapy as well.
